Conference on “Stability and economic development of the region.” Presentation of the decision to support DEZAMET.

On February 17, 2026, a conference entitled “Stability and Economic Development of the Region” was held at the headquarters of Zakłady Metalowe DEZAMET S.A. in Nowa Dęba. The event brought together representatives of public administration, the business world, and experts who discussed the directions of the region's economic development and the role of strategic investments in building economic stability and security.

The most important moment of the conference was the ceremonial presentation of the decision to support DEZAMET as part of the Polish Investment Zone. Issued by the Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A. (ARP S.A.), which manages the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone EURO-PARK WISŁOSAN, the decision gives the company the opportunity to take advantage of CIT tax reliefs of up to 50% of the value of planned investments. This decision is crucial for the further development of the production plant in Nowa Dęba.

“This support is a real help for our company, which will be able to continue expanding its production capacity and strengthen its position in the supply chains for the Polish Army,” says Dariusz Szlęzak, President of the Management Board.

“As the Industrial Development Agency, we do not limit ourselves to issuing decisions on support... Our priority is to provide a comprehensive range of support instruments for local entrepreneurship in key sectors, including defense,” emphasizes Łukasz Kotapski, Vice President of the Management Board of ARP S.A., highlighting the role of development institutions.

An integral part of the event was a panel discussion entitled “Geopolitics and economic security of regions,” attended by:

Prof. Paweł Kowal, PhD - Chairman of the Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee, Plenipotentiary of the Government of the Republic of Poland for the Reconstruction of Ukraine,
Łukasz Kotapski - Vice-President of the Management Board of the Industrial Development Agency S.A.,
Colonel Piotr Męczyński - Commander of the 18th Artillery Brigade in Nowa Dęba.
The discussion focused on the impact of the current international situation on investment strategies and the importance of dialogue between the state and the economic sector for regional development. The panel was moderated by Dr. Piotr Zawada, Deputy Director of the Marketing and Sales Office at the Rzeszów Regional Development Agency S.A.

The event was also attended by, among others, Deputy Minister of State Assets Grzegorz Wrona, Tarnobrzeg County Administrator Paweł Bartoszek, and Podkarpackie Province Governor Teresa Kubas-Hul.

The conference became an important platform for the exchange of views and experiences, as well as for highlighting the potential of Subcarpathia as a place conducive to the development of strategic investments. The decisions taken during the meeting have the potential to translate into increased production capacity, new jobs, and economic growth in the region.
