Conference "THE FUTURE HAPPENS TODAY"

On Friday, June 6, 2025, took place a conference entitled "THE FUTURE HAPPENS TODAY. The development of the defence industry and its key role in ensuring the security of EU citizens. RampUp4Dezamet - project closing conference".

 

The theme of the conference touched on the development of the defense industry in the broadest sense and its role in ensuring the security of not only the citizens of Poland, but also the entire European Union.

The conference was not only an opportunity to summarize the project, but also to talk, reflect and present the opportunities that have emerged for the national and European defense industry, which have become active due to the change in the geopolitical situation in Europe and the world.

 

Our guests, in particular Mr. Renauld Hock, from the Directorate General for Defense Industry and Space (DG DEFIS), talked about the European Commission's current proposals for the Armaments Industry.

Support for the arms industry is offered not only by the European Commission. Mr. Norbert Mastalerz from the Industrial Development Agency (O/Tarnborzeg), presented the current offer for companies and discussed the issue of tax incentives.

Mr. Dariusz Busz from the Marshal's Office of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship in Rzeszów presented the offer of other European funds.

 

During the panel discussion, topics discussed included the development of the defense industry and its key role in ensuring the security of EU citizens. The panelists were:

Mr. Mateusz Roszkiewicz - Director of the Development Department at the Polish Armament Group S.A,

Mr. Marcin Kamassa - Head of the Department of International Cooperation from the Department of Defense Industry of the Ministry of Development and Technology,

Mr. Bogdan Frasoński - General Counsel at the Department of Armaments Industry of the Ministry of Defense.

 

The guest of honor at the event was Mr. Andrius Kubilius - Commissioner for Defense and Space from the European Commission, who highlighted the importance of increasing ammunition production in the context of the military threat from Russia.
