RampUp4Dezamet Project stand at the Commune Harvest Festival
This year's Commune Harvest Festival took place in Alfredówka (Nowa Dęba municipality) on August 25, 2024. The Harvest Festival grew out of the history and customs of the Polish countryside, and is a universal holiday. Harvest festivals were probably held in Poland as early as the 16th or at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, when the manor and farm economy developed in our lands. Harvest festivals were organized by the owners of landed estates for the harvesters (farm servants and hired workers) of the land. It was a party, with refreshments and dancing - as a reward for a harvest job well done and a harvested crop. After all, the harvest was the culmination of great farm labor, on the results of which, on the quantity and quality of the harvest, depended human existence.
The event was very successful, the weather was unusually hot, and many guests from the municipality and the surrounding area came. It has become a permanent part of the calendar of important celebrations of the city and municipality of Nowa Dęba.
One of the attractions during the Harvest Festival was the rally of vehicles powered by “Dezamet”-engines, so the stand of the “Dezamet” Metal Works S.A. could not be missing, which was very popular. The stand provided general information on the support received from the European Commission under the ASAP Program for the implementation of the RampUp4Dezamet Project (Number: 101170171).
Coverage of the event was provided by many local media:
