The 85th anniversary of DEZAMET S.A.
On September 13-14, Nowa Dęba hosted celebrations marking the 85th anniversary of Metal Works Dezamet S.A.. The event brought together many distinguished guests, including parliamentarians, local government officials, representatives of the uniformed services, the army, companies from the Polish Armaments Group, schools and institutions cooperating with Dezamet.
The first day of the celebration had a solemn and official status. The event began with a Holy Mass in the Parish of the Elevation of the Holy Cross in Nowa Dęba. Then a gala was held in the auditorium of the Local Government Cultural Center, during which a film promoting DEZAMET was presented, the Company's Management Board's plans and intentions were presented and the guests who attended were given the floor. An accompanying element of the event was a historical exhibition devoted to the fate of the Company and an exhibition of the manufactured assortment.
An important part of the anniversary celebrations was the awarding of medals to deserving employees of the company.
The official part of the ceremony ended with a concert by the Military Orchestra from Rzeszow.
The following Saturday's day of celebrations was open and directed to the residents of the city and the region. There was an exhibition of military equipment, combat demonstrations, games and activities for children, as well as extensive catering facilities. The jubilee was concluded with a concert by the evening's star band Czerwone Gitary and an impressive laser show depicting the history of our plant. The celebration of DEZAMET's 85th anniversary was also an opportunity to inform the local community about the EC funding received for the RampUp4Dezamet Project.
