HAND GRENADES
Dezamet offers the following hand grenades:
- Defensive hand grenade RGO-88;
- Offensive hand grenade RGZ-89.
DEFENSIVE HAND GRENADE RGO-88
The RGO-88 hand-held defensive grenade is a fragmentation grenade with delayed action. It is designed to rocket live force and lightly armored equipment.
In the RGO-88 grenade, a crushing cube made of hexogen is placed inside a mantle made of steel plate. The space between the crushing cube and the mantle is filled with steel balls, which injure the target when the grenade detonates. The grenade is armed with a UZRGM fuse.
OFFENSIVE HAND GRENADE RGZ-89
The RZG-89 hand-held concussion grenade is designed to be used to injure a live force.
The main element of the RGZ-89 grenade is a body made of plastic, into which a fragmentation insert made of aluminum alloy is fused. The fragmentation insert has the shape of a spirally coiled rod, rectangular in cross-section, on which notches have been made to force fragmentation. The grenade is elaborated with hexogen. The grenade is armed with a UZRGM detonator.
